Media player for Android allows you to play media files from sdcard/ over the internet.
It has the capability to play audio/ video both from internal memory card(sdcard). The application supports playing of non progresseive streams as well as progressive streams Thus the streaming media(such as mp4, pls, m3u files) can be played without downloading the whole files.
Application also supports the RSS feeds List of supported formats :
Audio:
  • .mp3
  • .ogg
  • .mid
  • .wav
  • .amr
  • .m3u (streaming)
  • .pls (streaming)
Video :
  • .wmv
  • .3gp
  • .mp4
  • .m4v
For mp4 and m4v, both streaming and stored data can be played
